I think it really depends on one thing. That thing is if TS is going to be there. If he is then I would be really shocked if it isnt a total sell-out as that will be the day that the fans can show him the thanks for getting us out of the shit
I think you are falling into the trap of thinking all supporters are engaged to the same extent as the core group. I doubt there are an extra 10,000 likely to turn up to see the owner. The Covid rebound, however, Is very hard to estimate. The squad will also be a factor.
I brought a season ticket even though I live in Finland, a big part of that is down to both covid and Thomas taking over. If there is a realistic possiblity I can attend the opening game (I'll be fully vac at this point) then I'll be straight over.

He deserves a welcoming from a mostly sold out valley when the opportunity presents itself imo.
“Bought” not “brought”, irrationally winds me up for some reason!
I'm with you & its because they mean completely different things.

Might as well say..."I kitchen sink my season ticket yesterday".
Except everyone knows what someone means when they say brought instead of bought, so actually quite different.
But that doesn't mean they are right. What it generally means is that other people are too nice & gracious to pull them up on it.

If everytime someone used "brought" instead of "bought" people called them out on it then they might realise their mistake.

I'd love to be a police office & when arresting someone they say " I didn't do nuffik". I'd just bang them up & say "that's your confession right there son".
    Police Officer not police office
Why? Surely office should not start with a capital?
No- I meant he put the wrong word.
The capitals were for emphasis on my post.
Oh. I see what you mean.
Interesting that I read Golfies blog and my brain auto corrected, but I was totally confused by your correction as it reads as a random comment unless one also spotted the error.

Taken from the Covid thread as didnt want to derail the subject but wonder if we'll see another surge in season ticket sales when this gets announced - Wouldnt be surprised if people have potentially held off on purchasing over recent doubts.

I don’t think it will have much impact tbh. If anything, the possibly of reduced crowds (say 8k) would have encouraged me to get one!

Of course some will have held off purchasing. We sometimes forget it's not "only" £260 for everybody, especially if there's a chance they will not get to the games and then rely on their money being transferred to CAFC cash etc.

The Club can now advertise to a wider reach by using emotive images and videos of a fully packed North Stand, which might encourage those sitting on the fringes of a season ticket versus pay as you go.

I'd say the fixtures if it's your 43rd wedding. Are you in the Guinness Book of Records ?!

It means that the L1 season will be more crowded than the L2 one, which seems daft

Not to mention there is surely more risk of L1 games being called off for Internationals that L2 games...

Looks like there will be no restriction on attendances next season.

Suppose it depends on where the number is at between 7500-8000 but is the 8k achievable by the end of the month? People getting paid Friday might add a few onto the tally?

8k will prob take another 10-15 days I reckon unless announcement of early bird ending / signing announcements

    43rd wedding?

Look, mate ... I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but you may need to review your taste in women/men.

Oops when you been married that long you tend to forget things. Perhaps in this case forgetting anniversary might have led to a slight bit of embarrassment on my behalf. Should obviously have read my 43rd wedding anniversary, thanks for pointing out my minor error 😂.

Were the “5 things” only for early birders? Assumed they were for all season ticket holders.

If we manage promotion this season it would be interesting to see what level of season ticket sales we can achieve in the Championship with TS backing us. 15-16k maybe?

If we got to the stage of having sold 15-16k then I suspect it would encourage others to buy one for fear of missing out.
