The improvements to Charlton TV and bringing the Women's team back into the Club have been widely welcomed as good initiatives too I think. I know some believe the PR disaster of trying to change the name negated that, but I still give him credit for what he actually did achieve.

If the Sangaards had no input into recruitment other signing the cheques 100% agreement with you, but its a little like saying the hiring and firing is HRs fault.
Fwiw as a transport planner, I wouldn't view the roads/access as a barrier to development of the valley. There's many other reasons why it might not be viable but personally I don't think transport is a big one.

We’re stuck with Aneke until June 25, Mansfield until June 24. In theory it was the right thing to do, but we’ve been undone by the fact we’ve invested in largely crap players

He's changed his business model, no surprise either, I'm sure he will continue to change his business model as time goes on, as he makes more mistakes and learns from them. Probably much in the same way when he started his pharma device business. He'll continue to get some things right and some things wrong. I don't think he deserves to be attacked for everything that doesn't work out well.
Also, I don't think we can judge his future aims based on pure rumours about intentions to sell assets that he doesn't own.

Yeah, had an exchange with someone on Twitter who was talking about the turnover on the coaching side and listed Bowyer, Skiverton, and Euell. Bowyer left for a side higher up the pyramid, a club he played for for years. Skiverton was always going to leave when Jacko left, it wouldn't make sense to keep Jacko's hand selected #2 on for another manager. And with Euell, I think it was something that ran its course. I think you want a new manager selecting their coaching team and I think with Euell it was a matter of make him manager or let him go, because he didn't really have anywhere else to go at this club.
I'm glad he got another job right away, and maybe his and the club's paths will cross again.

The issue has been how it has been spent, namely the efficacy of the players it has been spent on. DJ, Lavelle, Aneke, and Kirk all commanded decent fees and arguably none are first choice.
It's how I feel when people complain that we signed players from League Two. Those players--Wallocott, Payne, CBT, Egbo (still early but like the look of him), and O'Connell haven't been the biggest on-field issue this season. It's been Stockley and Inniss, signed from the Championship and Prem. Aneke never being fit, signed from the Championship. McGrandles (still early on him as well), DJ, and Kirk, all playing in League One before joining us. Lavelle kind of a gray area because he was technically signed from a League One club and had played in League One but was a L2 player the previous year.
Non-coaching/playing staff turnover, absolutely lies with him, he's the CEO and whatever else, buck stops with him. Hiring his son to do transfers, absolutely on him. He himself and his partner trying to run the club and making everyone miserable and bad business decisions, on him. But as the OP mentioned, there are some good things as well, including tying young players up to contracts so we don't lose them for free, and I think our approach of trying to sign younger players who we can hopefully sell on in the future (if need be) is also good, it's just the execution hasn't been good.
