I think what that second half showed is how much we just need to simplify things in the final third. Aneke obviously makes a huge difference but you can’t tell me Stockley, however poor his form has been, wouldn’t be more of a threat with a few more balls into the box like we put in second half. We have to find that way to transition from patient build up to being quicker and more direct once we’re within 40 yards of goal.

Worried about the defence with O’Connell and Innis missing, and Wollacott seems to have caught Charltongoalkeeperitis whe it comes to stopping long shots, but we’ll park that for now.

What a game and great belief and determination to get back into it twice.

So great for Dobbo to be the one who got the winner.

The press association are as competent as the ref.

We definitely did - BBC says we got one, and remember an Ipswich player heading the ball out under no pressure
You can't often score 4 and only get 1, if that, corner?

Only people more pissed off than Ipswich fans right now are Golfie and the ref.
  • I admit to leaving early.  However to watch the crowing tractor boys who left early at the station silenced as the news came through was hilarious.  Loads of old boys like me giving them some proper South London banter 😂
  • Turned the stream off at 4-2. What a wet wipe I am, life lesson learnt. COYR!

Especially pleasing after being hampered by two early injuries. Brilliant fight back. Thought our body language looked like we were dead and buried at 2-3, but some how we kept going despite conceding another. Morgan, Fraser and Dobson really looked up for it, but I think it was the Chuks Blackett-Taylor double sub that gave us the belief.
  • Not sure why anyone left that early. It was so open towards the end.

Even once it went 4-2 I didn't want to leave as I thought we'd done pretty well so deserved an applause.

What a game. Incredible. They worked their nuts off.

Missed Thomas' goal but fortunately hadn't gotten past the concourse so was back for the bedlam at the end. Fantastic spectacle and great spirit shown by the team.

We scored 4 goals without Stockley on the pitch, he is so ineffective it's criminal. Our defence is terrible and I thought Clare followed up a poor performance out of position with an equally poor one in position.

Fraser, CBT and Aneke unplayable today. Utterly superb.

I mostly feel happy about the fact that travelling Ipswich fans are probably beyond irritated angry and frustrated.

How could any team blow a 2 goal lead starting from the 93rd minute
  • Chuks was incredible. What a guy. Would be such a huge upgrade if we could get 70 mins out of him.

Good on him. The referees need holding to account. Absolutely shocking
Completely agree. Will be worth whatever fines are forthcoming but that ref need d to hear the truth. Desperate to be centre of attention shown by how many cards in what was largely a clean game.

The refereeing in div 3 is atrocious. That’s why we’ve gotta get out of this league.

I wonder what would have happened if we hadn’t had those injuries?

I stayed to clap the lads for the effort they put in and a brave defeat against a decent side and a ref who might as well have been wearing a blue shirt. Good decision it turned out.

Chuks and Blackett-Taylor were the catalysts and the difference for us, but JRS, with nothing going his way at all...something flicked in his brain and he was as instrumental as anyone in helping drag us back into it. A monumental shift, defensively too - he left it all out there. Amazing to see from a player both so young and on loan

Sorry to say I left at 2-4. I hadn’t heard the third go in so when I heard the last I thought it was only 3-4. Could not believe it when someone said it’s now 4-4.
  • Took my 5 year old. Saw our first goal and their first 3, missed all the rest.
