Had to be up there with the Pardew dance surely? What ever happened to a chairman or owner acting with dignity and showing the way to represent the club and community?14

Solidgone said:I think there are some nasty comments on here about TS in this video clip. The guy is obviously being directed by the photographer to get the right photograph. I’m sure if you saw similar videos of other photo shoots by models there would be some similarity with awkward poses, although a lot more prettier 🥸
these photoshoots are notoriously awkward. Some people love them and the chance to show off. Others dread them because for every “cool” photo that comes from them there are loads more where people look special….Some of the comments are rather distasteful in my opinion given he is, as things stand, our owner.
we shouldn’t forget he came in when we were on our knees. He came in with good intentions. I don’t think he knew what he was getting into financially but for all the people ripping the piss and calling him a loser …..I’d love to be worth a few hundred million pounds!
in summary he DID save us but soon realised he had misjudged the financial requirements. Presumably he didn’t have the right people advising him…just as with his recruitment at Charlton you could say! It does seem as if we are in the “last days of Rome” phase of his ownership but he has certainly not been malicious to the point he should be getting some of the abuse he is. It just isn’t working out.52 -

He is just a very extreme example with a very thick skin it seems.I suspect he isn’t particularly embarrassed by this. As others have said he is responding to a photographers direction after all. When the cash losses get too painful then he will move on and will look back and have to balance if the ‘fun’ he had was worth the financial commitment.0

It is cringe, but it seems like it's being aired as a great exploit.0

It’s a bit weird but I have always evaluated any ownership (RD, MS, TS whoever) via in-role performance and ultimate ability to deliver a strong team on the pitch.
We could have a video of him streaking down The Mall and I wouldn’t give a shit if the club was flying and we were performing as we should whilst structured properly.
So a chance to giggle at this whilst not losing sight of the overarching incompetency which a few remaining souls are STILL not opening their eyes to.7 -

It completely sums up his tenure..
A complete joke. For him and us.
I don't for one moment think that he has ever taken this whole vanity project/mid life crisis hobby or whatever this is? serious from day one.

Ultimately he surrounded himself with people who would only tell him what he wanted to hear, knowing they wouldn’t last long otherwise, and who would just take his money for as long as he was willing to hand it over.
There’s a level on which Thomas is amenable and enthusiastic, which are good personal qualities, but even now he is trying to rubbish Garner behind the scenes after the event. It appears that he doesn’t have either the humility or insight to realise, never mind admit, that the mess is his and Raelynn’s.47 -

For every defence of the owner, I’ll bring to the table a phone call, a email or text from an ex or current employee that’s been humiliated, belittled, intimidated or bullied under his ownership.9
