Have we possibly now got the least experienced management team in football?

  • I thought Jason Pearce had gone to Wimbledon with Jacko?

Or was that just wishful thinking on my part ?

    You've got to laugh.

    I do. Not well.
  • I hope they do well.

He's our U18 coach I believe. Alex Pearce is a defender of a similar age who plays for Wimbledon and joined them in the summer after being released by Millwall

    Shitshow

Guy who's been qualified for 3 days and a rugby player.
Marginally better qualifications for the job than Karel Fraeye

I'm shocked he didn't make Ben do that, after training and before announcing he'd been sacked.

    Inspired choices
  • Give it a few weeks and a couple of wins and we will be calling for him to be made permanent.. ;)

  • I'm sure that we all wish Anthony the very best of luck because he will need it. It's not his fault, any more than it was Garner's or Adkins' fault that we do not have a squad fit for purpose. Quite what will happen when the window opens in a few weeks time if no new permanent Manager is appointed and the window opens only him up top knows. And I don't mean TS when I say that.

It’s funny how things move on.

Good luck, Anthony.… You just never know.
  • Wish them all the very best, we need them to do a decent job next few matches are very, very important.

Garner sacked on the day Hayes gets his coaching badges?

    How curious.
  • Sorry. Who is Anthony Hayes?
Strange, unless you’re joking of course.
He was our U18’s coach who was moved up to 1st team coach under Jacko.
He’s Irish (so perhaps that’s why I know).
When I was sat at the airport yesterday waiting to fly home after hearing Garner had been sacked I kind of guessed this would happen.
He’s only just got his license too.
I’m fully behind him & Jason.
The rest can get to feck!

We all know nothing is going to happen, regardless of who is manager, permanent or temporary, we’ll sell some but none will be bought, so other than a manager who’s been qualified for three days, our team will be even weaker.
  • The only positive I can take is that it's a caretaker role.

That's by no means meant to be disrespectful to these guys but I'm hoping it means Tommy won't be putting a 'permanent' manager in charge because he's just about to sell the club?
