Kent CCC 2015

One thing I have just seen is that Ryan Davies, on his debut, actually didn't concede a single bye in Derbyshire's innings. Makes up a bit for his duck.
In addition to that, though, the team didn't concede a single extra of any description. Wouldn't have though that that happens too often.0 -
Kent now 96/6...0

Blimey! And poor Ryan Davies has bagged a pair on his debut. He is much better than that and I'm sure will show it.killerandflash said:Kent now 96/6...
Lead of 215 and probably time for Sam Northeast (19*) to bat like he has been in T20s rather than wait around for the inevitable to happen.0 -
99/7, but a lead of 218 which you would have thought would be enough!0
-
112 all out. Last nine wickets fell for just 49.
Derbyshire need 232 to win.0 -
Coles strikes in the first over.
6-10 -

1st ball of the second innings..... 4 leg byes

Derbyshire will win this in all probability.
Seven and a bit sessions to get 232. There is allegedly nothing wrong with the pitch so they just have to wait for the inevitable bad ball and punish it.
Job done.
A shame the batsmen woefully failed to support an excellent performance by the bowlers to dismiss Derbyshire cheaply. It is asking a lot to expect another.0 -
I have an awful feeling you could be right!LenGlover said:Derbyshire will win this.

It's a gift. I could cause a train to be delayed by two hours if I needed it to arrive on time!Stewart said:Addick Addict said:One thing I have just seen is that Ryan Davies, on his debut, actually didn't concede a single bye in Derbyshire's innings. Makes up a bit for his duck.

Derbyshire 59-1

The reason Kent are going to finish bottom or close to the bottom of the division is due to a lack of consistency not from match to match but during each match !
They could well have chucked it away with a lamentable second innings batting display.

Derbyshire pissing it.
76-1 now.0 -
138/10

What's the incentive to not come bottom in this D2 league?0
-
What a ridiculous game, are Kent deliberately letting Derbyshire win easily to prove the pitch is fine and avoid a fine!0
-
169-1 at the close0

Oh dear.
Mr Hyde is back.0 -

The one and only Chesney
HawkesHughes is out for 94. Bowled by Coles but all too late. Just four runs needed now.0 -
Lost by 8 wickets :-(0
-
A remarkable game in many respects but one in which, out of 32 wickets to fall, 10 were bowled and the same number were LBW.
Can't batsmen play straight these days?0 -
It looks like after a spell of just 45 runs in 11 innings, Darren Stevens is playing in two games at the same time with a view to finding some form:

That Dickson has made a good 2nd XI start. Anyone want to guess where he's from?0

How come Nash and Harmison aren't in the first XI, are they recovering from injury or just dropped?0
