I think we need to ramp up the protests even more now.

    Absolute shower of a 'statement'.
  • We need to be singing 'F*ck off Fraeye' loud and proud throughout the game (every game) for as long as it takes for the useless f*cker to get the message and b*gger of back to Belgium... count me in.. I did it as a lonesome voice at half time against Forest..
  • Go get 'em Airman!

I like it how he says that we need a mixture of british / overseas talent and when asked why that wasnt addressed in the summer, he turns round and says that we didnt expect Henderson, Vetokele and Kashi to get injured.

Only one of them names mentioned is British you fool

And on top of that, Henderson's one of the few places where we had some cover, a young English player no less. I'm also quite interested to see how much better Bergdich will be next season considering they're already trying to sack him off this month

Murray has lost the plot I am sure of it, I cant think of any other reason why he is coming out with this shit.

That interview shows as much as anything we have seen how they dont get it, never will get it and we need them out, The pressure needs to be steeped up on Murray as well he is a joke who is helping kill our club.

We need to make it very uncomfortable for Murray, KM and KF to continue In there roles.

Yeah this is final evidence that they are all deluded and think that we are stupid clapping happy supporters!

They don't want the protest during the matches because they know it will get more media footage!

If the players don't know now we are protesting against the board and not them then they are stupid!

Time to up the protest and take it to inside the stadium! sing the songs loud and proud against the board! for the FULL 90 mins!

After all regardless what we sing, the players feed off the atmosphere i cant see how the words matter?

I'd laugh quite frankly if this club didn't mean so much to me.

The fact that they have 'rolled out Richard' speak volumes"

KM is too scared to speak to us
Roland can't be bothered to speak to us

That was pitiful in the extreme

Richard Murray you my friend are now a complete joke

Meaningful dialogue with the board from the trust - good luck kidding yourself on that one

If anyone was wondering to the extent of Richard Murray's involvement in this debacle, you can be now certain he has accepted the 30 pieces of silver!

    JUDAS!!!!

Why is Katrien not saying anything at all?? Is she genuinely childish enough to be throwing a tantrum and refusing?

What can she say though? I imagine they are waiting for results to improve before she pipes up again.
If a CEO cannot drum up a statement to at lest attempt to address some of the massively glaring issues that are destroying the business that they run then they have absolutely no place in that position.

No mention of why Interim Fraeye has been in charge for 12 games now and no mention of any news on a new boss.

Be honest with us for once. If he's the Head Coach then come out and say it. Stop hiding behind this interim tag. We are not thick!

What about when we were in the Championship in the 90s... He didnt underestimate it then did he, he should partly know how to win the bloody Division!!

I'm not sure who this "interview" is aimed at.
    Things are going weird.

    Interestingly no mention of KM.

That's the only interesting part of this. Murray has said nothing for the last couple of years and all of a sudden he is wheeled out for the "Big Interview". He's contradicted everything Meire has said recently, so who do we believe?

They've signed a player not deemed good enough for a contract in the summer and who has been kicking his heels in that bastion of football...India since. A player who has been injured for 2 seasons and is with us, initially at least, for just 28 days and Diego.

I want them all to work out and be hugely successful. But this is Groundhog Day FFS.

They have made the same mistakes each summer and winter window since they have been here. Richard Murray spouting "all the right words" changes nothing at all.

We're still under an "interim coach" - anyone have a clue what the world record is for an interim coach remaining in position??

Meire is still, supposedly, in position and hasn't been recalled to kindergarten in the Low Country.

So far, nothing to change how we are feeling about our club and the mis-management of this regime.

I sadly agree. He, of all people has no excuse.

Agree 100%. But if I were her I wouldn't make a statement, because I would know it would do more harm than good. It's a ludicrous position for our CEO to be in, and one that means she is even more unsuited to the position than ever before. If it were about what is good for the club she'd be gone today, but it's about what is good for her sadly.

Is he being held to ransom?

Did Katrien find those pictures of the gimp suit, dog lead & rolly poly-a-gram?

Maybe it is a cunning plan by Murray to get us SO pissed off we step up the protests even more and eventually force the Belgians out, whereupon he reveals it was the aim all along....
Nah, it's not, is it. But it is going to have that effect.
  • The bulk of what Murray says makes sense in my view but the total absence of any mention of the manager is absurd.
  • Sorry, just to confirm - THAT was the statement?

Sorry but how can Murray say “The obvious strand missing has been the number of experienced Championship players. The first time we have been able to address this is the January transfer window "

What about the last 2 seasons when every fan could see the new foreign players coming in were not cut out for the championship. They should have learnt last time and addressed with a mix last summer.

he has worked in this country long enough to know what is needed to get out of this league or at least challenge in it.

They have had 2 season (ok 2 halves and 1 full affectively) to learn this and we noticed it from day one, so how can a professional football club not realise this?

OK thanks Murray for conveying truthfully or not that RD has admitted he has made mistakes with the playing staff. But that's all I am thankful for. Rest doesn't make me feel any better about whats coming up

I actually agree that there is sense in there. But the problem is that a lot of what makes sense contradicts public messages from our CEO.
