Love the crowd noises in this clip.
First you hear the stripey excitement because their golden boy looks like he’s through on goal...
Then they all react in unison after the tackle because surely anyone taking the ball off Zaha’s toes is an instant foul...
Lastly, the whole stadium quickly realise there wasn’t a foul at all and Gomez has Zaha in his pocket...6 -
The only part of his game he needs to work on is giving away silly fouls but he's still young so that will soon come .0

Going to be an England regular for another 10 years or so I think.
I agree that he needs to be a little more aggressive in the air, but otherwise, he has it all.
Good luck to him, got the potential to be the best academy player to ever come through the club.7 -

He’s been really unlucky in his short career with so many injuries.
IMO he would have gone to both Euros 16 and WC 18 if it wasn’t for injuries. Would love to see him make it through this season playing 40+ matches without getting injured.
If he can stay fit I think Gomez will become a certainty in England squad, like Alli, Stones etc for the next 10 years.
