Is Matty Taylor a complete non starter now or could he yet sign in addition to the two Brighton players? Bit of wishful thinking I know but it would allow Aneke to play at the tip of the diamond instead of up front.
If we get Hemed we have our 4 strikers.

Dont want to be called an apologist for RD(as I have been before)but I really cant fault him in this transfer window,to apparently turn 4.5m for a player is baffling considering what has gone on before. The ulterior motive could of course be that a good start to the season may hasten a sale.We could be winners all round.
Of course, Roland might not yet know nothing about any of it.

Don't forget the importance of JJ. All three are doing an amazing job in, let's say, trying circumstances.
Sure. But Jacko I believe mainly works with the existing squad.
Bows & Gallen meant in the context of selecting and signing players.

Amazing how relaxed everyone is on here compared to this morning :-)

    It is.

Suppose I'll have to get some work done now. No bollox - home and break out one of my best malts.

    Sounds good to me.

The season certainly looks a lot rosier now ... thank god for Bowyer and Gallen

Well, if we don't give Taylor at least £10kpw contract now, we will certainly do a KAG and sell him in January. This is just a simple truth.

If the stories of £4m bids being turned down is true then it is a seed change.

I'm happy with that for now.

Suspect Hemed may be a bit of a donkey, but think Kayal is a good signing.

Taken too many kickings from this Football club to totally believe what appears to have happened on Parker day (Scott not Josh)

WIOTOS, nothing for 7 hours since Field signed on loan.

Hard to relax until we hear the official comments from Lee and Steve But it appears that we had a good day if you are a fan of cafc.

I would back Bowyer to make me a decent player so suspect he’ll get the very best out of an Israeli international striker

Interested to know who the other target was that we were after.

We know we are just waiting for the announcement of Kayal and Hemed, both excellent signings. Just who was the last we were after?

Can only assume it was Toney in case Taylor did leave.

I see no point in signing Kayal
Other than the fact he's really good?

I wonder how many of these loans in addition to Cullen can be called back in the winter?

Hemed is a proven championship scorer

Are some of you serious when you’re suggesting we have too many players? Ridiculous.

But are very well off in midfield and we can’t play all 6 loans

I prefer having only a few midfielders then relying on untested youngsters during an injury crisis

A small amount of credit needs to go to Roland. Not many chairman would have rejected that bid for Taylor.

But in doing so shows how awful he is. We lose Aribo etc for peanuts and then he rejects a bid we should probably have accepted.

You dont think do you, that with all the signings and bidding £4m for a player....RD has actually sold to a new owner(s) and they gave LB the go-ahead get what he wants and keep Lyle? Nothing at this club would surprise me....big announcement on CAFC website later.....the whole package wrapped up together!!

Ok I'll go and get me pills!!
    Nurse........he’s out of bed again!

Fuck me, a week ago we were looking at heading into the season with Lapslie and Morgan as our starting midfielders, now you can find no room for an international midfielder who's played in a championship winning side and played in the premier league last year.
