  • Holy shit. I’m more angry than happy because of that absolute prick Stroud. Did his best for Brizzle with an exorbitant amount of injury time, suddenly found his yellow card for us having let them kick seven shades out if Morgan and Gallagher (likely contributing to his injury), and gives them a free kick right at the end that nearly cost us when it was a perfectly good tackle by Deji. Absolute ****.

Fantastic effort from the boys though. Thought we’d blown it after Gallagher went off (still think Bowyer got that sub wrong) but they dug deep deep deep and pulled it back. Magnificent contribution from Bonne, match wining in fact, after a few weeks of, let’s been honest, being poor. Hopefully he kicks on again because to have him and Taylor firing would be massive for us.

Goodness knows how we’re going to get through this run of close together fixtures with still more injury concerns but that is a massive shot in the arm for everyone’s confidence that can only help the boys to giving it their all.

3 points at last, bring on the efl confirmation and a little dabble in the market in Jan. COYR !
  • Thought the ref might have given a foul on the keeper for our third.
  • Absolutely buzzing with that. 110% from everybody at the end to see it through.

    What a performance from Bonne.

Heroes all but immense performances from Pratley, Bonne, Morgan and Doughty. Just hope Gallagher does not have bad injury.

    Couldn't agree more mate.
The players you have named all deserve at least an 8 on the players marks thread.

My Missus said I kept getting nearer the TV as those minutes ticked by. I was swearing at that pratt of a ref who in all honesty looked like he wanted them to equalise.

Couldn't see us coming back from 2-1 and with Gallegher off but this team on their day can grind out a result. Special mention for Alfie and Darren Pratley who I thought was a amazing.

Today we saw why Lyle must stay but that is in the lap of the God's.

    COYR.

Stroud is awful. The added time was ridiculous.

But, if he’d really been that against us, he would’ve given them a penalty for the shot that deflected off a possible arm.

Bonne brilliant, Doughty electric, and Matthews and Lockyer were great.

    Great win, deserved it

God that was tense at the end, the heart was pounding. Absolute class from Bonne, two quality finishes. Really pleased for him because since Taylor has been involved again he's looked a little low on confidence.

  • Brilliant finally got the points and we made it through the endless added on time without conceding - could barely watch at end! 2 great finishes from Bonne and gutsy performances all round despite more injuries (Taylor looked knackered in 2nd half). Morgan and Doughty very impressive! Just how good would we be with a full squad and options on the bench. We finished the game with 8 defenders and a defensive mid who began the match in defence - crazy.
  • Get. In. There.

    Thankyou Charlton.
  • We only needed to have 9 defenders on the pitch (inc. Phillips and Pratley) to see out a win
Seem to have no midfield left apart from Pratley who is a DM. Not sure what formation we were playing at the end but we held out.

    Brilliant by Bonne.

  • SISS. Get in!!!
  • Everyone put a shift in on that pitch, they started to look shattered near the end(who can blame them) but to keep getting blocks in at the right times was immense...how many was we playing at the back when Sols came on...& Pearce had us sitting too deep in my opinion, but as said above, everyone worked for us,Bowyer & the new owners...(🤞🏻)

Get in There, enjoy rest of Chrimbo time/hols boys & gals...🍷

Fantastic day, great to be back at the Valley, at 2-1 to them we were struggling but then they suddenly dropped deep amd invited us on, we woke up, equalised and you could taste a victory, brilliant stuff, cant wait for the Derby/Swansea double header next week now!

  • How did that injury time go 7 minutes! I felt 5 minutes was to long anyway,
2 minutes for the Pratt in the east stand holding on to the ball

I did love his jokes earlier nearly as much as the win.

Bit of argy on the pitch at the end?

    Who did the tunell jump?
Ossie Ardilles wasn't working for Sky was he? 😉
  • Nice way to restart life as a season-ticket holder. Now let's get the takeover sorted and use the transfer window to stabilise that defence...
  • Still no Ledley as a sub.  He must be terrible in training

Probably will have to start vs Derby

Who DID do the tunnel jump? Doughty?
