A proper Bowyer team win - when you think we have a team out there that won't score the goals needed they find a way. Not many managers could turn around a result like that with the 11 we had out there.

Not read the whole thread, no doubt there's plenty of well deserved praise for Bonne and Doughty. Taylor also deserves a mention, scored in the last game and got an assist today. Reminded everyone he's still working hard for the team when he tracked back at the end and put in a tackle. I've read too much nonsense on social media recently that we should let him go and he's not that good, most of it because they don't like his Twitter posts. Great to have a him back, just frustrating that we've lost Leko to injury. Unless Hemed's back soon and makes an impact we really need to keep Taylor and bring in two new strikers.

I'm still confident we'll stay up, the injury situation will eventually get better and we'll strengthen in January.

Anyone over 5 foot 10 and with a pair of boots needs to get in touch with the club, will get a place on the bench at least.
    F*** you pal
Sorry we need a bit of physical presence

Morgan was immense, Doughty class again. MOTM was Bonne, superb performance. I think the cross for the third was even better than either of BJs' finishes.

We can take that confidence into Monday and get a result, start to pull away from the bottom.

Said in the Christmas video that he's off twitter and has deleted it from his phone.  Probably for the best!

Is Taylor waving goodbye in the pitch walk around at the end? Could be wrong

is it true that Bonne did a farewell tunnel jump?
  • Lockyer's farewell fist pump, and elated roar really put a tear in my eye. Sad to lose him so soon into his Charlton career.

Bowyer walked around the pitch and clapped the fans so must be off too.

The young lad going after him, protecting his mom, fair play to him. As for the attacker, throw him in jail, unbelievable bellend

Thought the same. He seemed to walk along waving to the East Stand before turning to do the same to the Coveted End and West Stands. Last home game?

Looking at the clip on Twitter it does seem that way sadly.

So ESI have paid 50-60 million and they are going to let a 20 goal Championship striker leave ! ( Lyle has missed 14 games so won't now)

I didn't realise he'd missed that many games! No wonder we couldnt see a win out, he's our first line of defence.

Be mad not to sell him if he’s not going to sign a new deal though. Big loss but better to get a couple of million now than lose him for free in the summer.

Evening Roland. Championship survival is worth more than a couple of short term millions this January.

Do they have a choice? They don’t technically own us at this time, so presume they can’t be offering contracts out to players even if they wanted to.

I do wonder if they're offering a lot of promises.

A promise isn't worth shite, if you can't fulfil it.

Agreed but we will have to replace him in the summer anyway so why not sell him now, get a fee and put that towards the striker. I would rather replace him with a 4mil striker now than 2mil in the summer.
