Don't worry about golfie, he's just doing his 'reverse psychology' thing.0

It's been underwhelming so far that's for sure2

For those of you moaning. Are any of the signings so far a disappointment ? Clare and Dobson both look very promising and are the right age to grow with us and provide energy and stature. MacGillivray is at least as good a replacement for Amos. Many who know more than I say an upgrade. We know what Famewo and Stockley give us. We know we’re going to get four more loans. Likely to be a mix of experience and PL prospects. We will also I’m convinced sign another two permanents. Why think those two will be any less good than the business we’ve already done ? Loans are always hit and miss so it’s hard to make any assessment. Chill. Yes we all want more players to come in and so do the club.8

Wetting the bed? At this point I'm sh*tting it!
(Not Charlton related, I just like the way it feels when I wake up in the morning).12 -

Stockley - Perm
MacGillivray - Perm
Dobson - Perm
Famewo - Loan to Buy
Clare - Perm
Normally we're now entering the time loanees join, so expect a flurry of loan activity over the next month. I'd expect a left back, another centre back and a couple of more attacking players to be our loan options.
Also worth noting those that refused to sign new contracts are no longer being paid... This will open the door for us to negotiate with them as they'll likely be more willing to chat.
Finally I'd be surprised if we're not looking at some other paid signings.5 -

I wish you would get get out of the bed first.1 -
Some peoples thinking is just ridiculous...its been underwhelming its been this and its been that...
Why do you bother to support the team? Honestly?
You want a team that can throw cash around then go and support City.
Some on here have a strange sense of entitlement with nothing to back it up.
As mentioned, there are 5 weeks left of the transfer window and I am confident it will all work out.9 -
Saw someone mention Sam Greenwood , that would be an interesting loan although I'd assume Leeds would want him to be a regular starter. Scored a stunning freekick for Leeds last night too.2

I am quite happy if we are not over paying and offering silly wages.TS is building the club from the bottom up with with a structure that is good enough for me and will serve us well longer term. The league one season we went up, we had some huge wages on the books, which had lowered considerable since then.
We had Vetokele who was on 10k a week, Nabby On 9k a week. So that took up a huge part of the budget. We are working on similar figures to previous seasons.
he is building from the bottom up, but we just need to be realistic, on our targets. We are going to be very reliant on the loan mark.
I wasn’t being negative, the club is in a strong position. But just need to be realistic7 -
I know it's joked about but the players who were away at the Euros and Copa returning will massively stimulate the market. For loads of reasons.
Every club, from the likes of Westham and Everton down are effected by what City/United/Chelsea etc do with their loans.
It's a massive release of avaliable talent to a starved market and will both directly and indirectly ripple through the leagues.1 -

In this weeks episode of the Bed Wetters: Fans cry that Charlton didn't sign a shite striker from Barnsley7

My mates son was at the game last night and waited outside for Thomas and got a photo with him. He asked about transfers and TS replied “we’re speaking to players and agents every day but most transfers will happen on deadline day “7

If we are bring a midfielder in, bring one in that improves us.0 -
My only concern is we’ve only replaced some key positions from last season and have three new faces in the squad as we’ve brought Famewo and Stockley back to the club.
Amos - McGilverrey
Shinnie - Clare
Pratley - Dobson
Famewo - Famewo
Stockley - Stockley
Still need to replace:
Maatsen
Aneke
Oshilaja
Millar
Plus additional signings ideally a number 10/playmaker and another winger/striker.We are short, there is no denying that, we can’t just fill the gaps with the youngsters but I think we probably will with Elewere and Clayden slotting in and perhaps Vennings too. I trust we will bring in some quality signings but this wasn’t the summer I think many of us were expecting.1 -
NA and TS have very little to do with recruitment of the players .. NA will supply a list of targets to SG and his team and TS supplies the budget .. and that’s it then it’s down to SG to get the players in ..
we heard that last night NA could not give a definite answer about LB or Gomas because he has to speak to SG …5 -
What is nice is we haven't heard any rumours of teams after our players...4
