Would be fantastic. Southgate has done brilliant for us, but just feel Pep would take the national team to a whole new level and get the best out of the attacking players we have.Bedsaddick said:

Nailed on for Spain.
Played for them, didn't win anything other than an Olympic medal.1 -
Managing an international team is a very different challenge, as you don't get the time with the players to imbue your style and philosophies. It would definitely have to be a short passing side to start with, rather than a more physical one0

He can hardly string a sentence together either. Going to be great during training.TEL said:

He was a bit of dick in his younger years but why is he such a bad role model? He is pretty well placed to pass on guidance to young players based on his experiences.TEL said:

bowyer…,affect, McDonalds etc. Has a promotion under his belt and is doing a good job at Birmingham. Scum bag players can make good managers/coaches0 -
Is that the muffled sound of his phone vibrating?ricky_otto said:

USA, baby. He has a home in NY and his kids live here. It’s been chatted about for years. He was planning to leave the moment he won the Champions League but it just has not happened.Bedsaddick said:

Hughton gone from Forest0
-
Nottingham Forest can confirm that Chris Hughton has been relieved of his duties as first team manager.
The club would like to place on record its’ appreciation for Chris’s efforts. Chris joined the club in a difficult period for everyone in football and around the world and we thank him for the way he has conducted himself during his tenure.

Shocking start to the season. As they pointed out on Quest, with a 9 points deduction, Derby would still be only 3 points behind Forest!0

10 weeks!? Shit, too late again this time.Peter_G said:"For reference, we sacked Dowie on the 13th November" About 10 weeks too late then.0 -
I wonder whether this might affect Arter in January.
A new Forest manager may want to recall him if he impresses for us. In his Atlantic interview he didn't rule that scenario out.
It will be interesting to see if he plays in the FA Cup.1 -

Harry Kewell has been sacked by National League Barnet, after just 7 games in charge, which delivered just 2 draws
A bit of a revolving door there this year!0 -
He's had four managerial jobs now, maybe another example of good player but not manager?2

Simply getting ready for when the Aussies takeover

If it wasn't for the NLS and NLN season being aborted, they would have gone down last season. I can't fathom what's gone wrong there, as the club seems well run off the pitch and has a decent enough new stadiumLincsaddick said:

Steve Cooper is set to become the next Manager to be sacked by Nottingham Forest in the future7
-
Nottingham Forest have named Steve Cooper as head coach to succeed Chris Hughton, having agreed compensation with his former club Swansea City.

That's bizarre. Paying compensation to Swansea, despite the fact he left Swansea 2 months ago!clive said:Nottingham Forest have named Steve Cooper as head coach to succeed Chris Hughton, having agreed compensation with his former club Swansea City.

The article says he was under still contract with them, which is all quite confusing2 -
Bonus for Swansea, stop paying an ex-manager and get a bit of compensation.0
