Guardiola has apparently said he will leave City at the end of his current contract in 2023.
Wants to take a break and then manage a national team.
England ?
Would be fantastic. Southgate has done brilliant for us, but just feel Pep would take the national team to a whole new level and get the best out of the attacking players we have.
Managing an international team is a very different challenge, as you don't get the time with the players to imbue your style and philosophies. It would definitely have to be a short passing side to start with, rather than a more physical one
Ashley Cole is set to be the England U21 Assistant Coach...
What a role model.,..
not
He was a bit of dick in his younger years but why is he such a bad role model? He is pretty well placed to pass on guidance to young players based on his experiences.
bowyer…,affect, McDonalds etc. Has a promotion under his belt and is doing a good job at Birmingham. Scum bag players can make good managers/coaches

USA, baby. He has a home in NY and his kids live here. It’s been chatted about for years. He was planning to leave the moment he won the Champions League but it just has not happened.
Nottingham Forest can confirm that Chris Hughton has been relieved of his duties as first team manager.
The club would like to place on record its’ appreciation for Chris’s efforts. Chris joined the club in a difficult period for everyone in football and around the world and we thank him for the way he has conducted himself during his tenure.
Harry Kewell has been sacked by National League Barnet, after just 7 games in charge, which delivered just 2 draws
A bit of a revolving door there this year!
Barnet have sunk like a ton weight .. now in the relegation spots of the National League
If it wasn't for the NLS and NLN season being aborted, they would have gone down last season. I can't fathom what's gone wrong there, as the club seems well run off the pitch and has a decent enough new stadium
Nottingham Forest have named Steve Cooper as head coach to succeed Chris Hughton, having agreed compensation with his former club Swansea City. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58604822

That's bizarre. Paying compensation to Swansea, despite the fact he left Swansea 2 months ago!
The article says he was under still contract with them, which is all quite confusing
Comments
Played for them, didn't win anything other than an Olympic medal.

A new Forest manager may want to recall him if he impresses for us. In his Atlantic interview he didn't rule that scenario out.
It will be interesting to see if he plays in the FA Cup.
