I do hope Sandgaard doesn't get too much stick today, whatever we think of him, he saved our club

In terms of him saving us, its like stopping someone from getting run over by a car

Only to repeatedly punch the individual in the face a month after and still ruin its life.

It's not dead, but starting to wish it was
I’m sorry, I take no pleasure in your current predicament, and I mean that, but that is a brilliant analogy. 😂
Isn't that strange. A Millwall fan who takes no pleasure from our predicament when we have fans on here saying they enjoy reading tweets from a guy who gives details of how badly run our Club is. Personally, I find them rather worrying and they make me angry. I take no pleasure from them at all.

he's a 'devil' we are getting to know .. I really hope he improves his knowledge of English football and becomes less averse to spending his money on good players, IF he doesn't he (and we) will be stuck in the lower divisions for a long time .. all the best very Sandy, just get more 'with it'

Well I can certainly lighten the mood... I found a pound coin down the back of the sofa this morning!

I’m confident his ego will drive him to have a walk round the pitch at some point again soon. Will be in for a wake up call when he does and I’m all for it
If true that Raelynn has been forced to stay in the States due to the actions of Club employees, I'd take a wild guess and say that he's probably wide awake already.
I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know how the full extent of how the fans feel.
On here.  I think we also have to take into account we’re only 1000 odd and outside of here, we’ve no idea to what extent the majority of our feelings are replicated.

It could be similar, but we all do whip each other up on here with momentum given the communal element to the site.

Personally I think it’s a lot more now that are getting a bit fed up, but it’s hard to quantify outside of here as it’s a bit of an echo chamber
The echo chamber is always a danger but the attendances say a hell of a lot.

He's going for it isn't it?

But could this particular tweet backfire if the club ends up getting fined and/or the block goes back on and people start bleating they can't watch games without getting off their arses again?
What I don't get about this (and why I suspect that isn't the whole story) is how would it benefit without publicity?

Those that choose already to cheat the system via a VPN will already do this and can continue to do so. Anybody new  will assume they cannot do it for a 3pm game based on what is publicised by the club i.e. overseas only and probably wont try. Those that play by the rules will be unaware.

If anyone tries on the off chance and were successful (if indeed blocks were deliberately removed)  they are surely going to be negligible numbers. A few tenner's here and there wont change the cost base for TS. The risk of EFL sanction is surely much greater than any extra revenue.

I can believe them turning a blind eye to VPN activity and not making attempts to close it down, as I imagine, that is a grey area to defend with the EFL - but I am guessing.

I cant see lifting the UK restriction beyond maybe supporting a subtle experiment makes much sense. Maybe they could argue they are gathering data / MI to support a challenge to the EFL on what broadcast rights need to change to ? That is of course a sympathetic hypothetical argument (based on absolutely nothing) but I just don't see how the so called 'leak' is a deliberate action that will make much impact.

The same bloke who thought the outside chance of a free beer at the next match would sell a £29/£32 ticket?
So if you are just saying he is a very poor judge of what income streams exist are we to believe there wasn’t an internal conversation when he suggested or instructed this?

I find it interesting to imagine that no one pointed out the flaw in unblocking versus the risk.

If we really do have an insider what was the argument given for unblocking?
Staff were told they should leave if they didn’t believe the ground could be sold out. This is not an environment where staff are encouraged to challenge or question edicts from above - people have been removed for having a different opinion from Thomas and Raelynn, so why would they?
Where I worked previously,  the boss proudly presented plans for a new office,  warehouse and workshop.

He left it in the tea room for us all to admire saying feel free to come forward with suggestions to improve them, and of course I will ignore what you say.

Every one of us immediately saw a flaw in his plan, the workshop area door was too low for a forklift. Nobody told him because we didn't want to feel ignored!

Treat your staff like shit and get it back in kind.

one partially redeeming factor is the current economic situation .. double whammy .. fans/casual now and then spectators at the Valley are loath to spend a lot on football, and the club overheads have risen by a LOT

  • On house outside Valley today !!
We have a strange fan base at times
  • In the Valley cafe now, never seen it so empty an hour before ko

I think the crowd will be very low today. What with the rail issues, current atmosphere within the club etc it isnt really a game for a big crowd

Might break a record for all time lowest home league game attendance at the valley.

Small local businesses may heavily rely on those 23 days a year where there will be crowds of people present.

I bet sandguard will blame it on covid peak residue

When is personal responsibility going to occur?

When will sandguard openly admitt the stats don't lie and he's done a shit job?

He thinks the club has been run really badly over the last 20 years....the worst part is now
