I genuinely cannot fathom what was going through TS’ mind when he thought he could sell the ground out in League One, and moreover, sack people who suggested (quite rightly), it won’t happen. RidiculousAirman Brown said:
Staff were told they should leave if they didn’t believe the ground could be sold out. This is not an environment where staff are encouraged to challenge or question edicts from above - people have been removed for having a different opinion from Thomas and Raelynn, so why would they?valleynick66 said:
So if you are just saying he is a very poor judge of what income streams exist are we to believe there wasn’t an internal conversation when he suggested or instructed this?Airman Brown said:

What I don't get about this (and why I suspect that isn't the whole story) is how would it benefit without publicity?Off_it said:

But could this particular tweet backfire if the club ends up getting fined and/or the block goes back on and people start bleating they can't watch games without getting off their arses again?
Those that choose already to cheat the system via a VPN will already do this and can continue to do so. Anybody new will assume they cannot do it for a 3pm game based on what is publicised by the club i.e. overseas only and probably wont try. Those that play by the rules will be unaware.
If anyone tries on the off chance and were successful (if indeed blocks were deliberately removed) they are surely going to be negligible numbers. A few tenner's here and there wont change the cost base for TS. The risk of EFL sanction is surely much greater than any extra revenue.
I can believe them turning a blind eye to VPN activity and not making attempts to close it down, as I imagine, that is a grey area to defend with the EFL - but I am guessing.
I cant see lifting the UK restriction beyond maybe supporting a subtle experiment makes much sense. Maybe they could argue they are gathering data / MI to support a challenge to the EFL on what broadcast rights need to change to ? That is of course a sympathetic hypothetical argument (based on absolutely nothing) but I just don't see how the so called 'leak' is a deliberate action that will make much impact.I find it interesting to imagine that no one pointed out the flaw in unblocking versus the risk.If we really do have an insider what was the argument given for unblocking?8 -
Then it says 'choking down alive ', it's a clear threat to Portuguese international Rui Pinto not to mess with the Danish mafia.Dave2l said:"Chopped and see your friend"
Probably a 98 playoff final reference 🤔
Dylanesque, makes no sense at all. Unless the choking alive bit is a reference to the concourse pies.

Anyone ever fathomed out who the friend was that suggested to Sandgaard "Ever thought about owning an English football club?" ?1

He can’t be an employee or he would have been out of a job ages ago .. gets feed rumours and fills in the blanks himself …. as usual another person trying to get his 15 mins of fame …superclive98 said:He is described on his Twitter account as a "Disgruntled Charlton Athletic employee and whistleblower".
Doesn't mean that it's true, of course.9 -

No wonder he booked himself to come onto the pitch and address the crowd before kickoff, I assume he thought he would be speaking to 27,000 adoring fans hanging on his every word.cabbles said:

I’m confident his ego will drive him to have a walk round the pitch at some point again soon. Will be in for a wake up call when he does and I’m all for it3

Thanks for posting in full. Judging by @Croydon earlier post you quite possibly saved a number of Lifers from visiting Porn Hub last night.CafcWest said:I actually don't mind the tune...but the lyrics (some I just don't get)We hear the battle cry (oh, oh, oh-oh)

If true that Raelynn has been forced to stay in the States due to the actions of Club employees, I'd take a wild guess and say that he's probably wide awake already.J BLOCK said:I’m confident his ego will drive him to have a walk round the pitch at some point again soon. My prediction for today:
We go a goal down, a couple of fans around the directors box give him some verbals. He gives it back. Stewards move in. Could all get very ugly. Video ends up on Twitter.7 -
I do hope Sandgaard doesn't get too much stick today, whatever we think of him, he saved our club30

F*** him. He's now in a similar situation to Murray.CH4RLTON said:I do hope Sandgaard doesn't get too much stick today, whatever we think of him, he saved our club6 -
If he carries on the way he is we will need somebody else to come in and save it.CH4RLTON said:I do hope Sandgaard doesn't get too much stick today, whatever we think of him, he saved our club3 -
Just for the record the line is “jogging down the line”
Not: “choking down alive”, that would be ridiculous 😉

In terms of him saving us, its like stopping someone from getting run over by a car
Only to repeatedly punch the individual in the face a month after and still ruin its life.
It's not dead, but starting to wish it was12 -
I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know how the full extent of how the fans feel.swordfish said:

I miss the care free days where you could just choke down alive wherever you felt like it.9

I’m sorry, I take no pleasure in your current predicament, and I mean that, but that is a brilliant analogy. 😂Dave2l said:CH4RLTON said:I do hope Sandgaard doesn't get too much stick today, whatever we think of him, he saved our club

On here. I think we also have to take into account we’re only 1000 odd and outside of here, we’ve no idea to what extent the majority of our feelings are replicated.J BLOCK said:

Personally I think it’s a lot more now that are getting a bit fed up, but it’s hard to quantify outside of here as it’s a bit of an echo chamber11
