That's what used to be called a 'Grandstand finish'.

What an utter prick!! - Should know that if he's shit enough he can be refereeing League Two games as well as Championship ones - Saw his match record this season during the game, and instantly felt he was officiating like the game was beneath him
  • When will he learn and stop playing Kirk and stockley? Ffs
  • Mad second half

Defensively we never looked good, and for the first 60 minutes were toothless up front. Indeed the most energy we showed up front was the argument between Morgan and Kirk.

Then Chuks and CBT came on, and we were a transformed team. Indeed embarrassingly so for the 2 subbed players. Suddenly we had pace and power up front, and the Ipswich defence became as bad as ours. Morgan looked transformed in a more central position with runners ahead of him

Gutted when they got the 3rd, which seemed to kill the game off, but that just started a mad period of added time. Such a great moment when Dobbo headed the equaliser.

    BBC website stats:

Ipswich 18 shots, 5 on target.

Charlton  only 9 shots ..... but 7 on target!

    Left at 2-3

Ipswich are so shit. Pompey were so shit. Plymouth were so shit. We are SOOO shit. League one is an enormous shithole of essentially non-league football.

It should be so easy to get out of with a half decent ownership/ management structure and just one or two alright players alongside just a team of very average / competent players. But no, we are where we are.

please, make it stop , we’ve barely had 2 and a half, 3 seasons in the last 15 years of being vaguely good / enjoyable to watch / positive vibes around the club, this season is just yet more and more dog turd

  • Looking forward to Charlton Live. When's it out.👍
  • Fair play to the lads, didn't see that comeback coming. We're much better without Stockley, shame Aneke can't start matches. Ref was a joke, sounds like he was giving it large before the game started. Absolute prick.

We need to give Dobbo a 5 year contract immediately. He gets it.

hey, 4 goals after 90 minutes is that a world first..?
  • Lesson for their number 4, never give it large to the opposition fans until the game is over!  He must be soooo embarrassed.

Stormed out when Ipswich scored their fourth. It was too much!
Heard our third just outside the club shop, and what sounded like Ipswich’s fifth in Floyd Rd. Everyone thought the same, until someone saw on his phone that it was us who scored.
Gutted to have missed it. Aaaagh!!
Can’t wait to see it on ITV. It has to be the first L1 match for a change.
For all the stick I get at least I stay through thick & thin. Never leave before the end. Never.

Trouble is, Chuks and CBT are too fragile to risk from the beginning.
The fact is, we needed that extra front man in the summer to complement/challenge Stockley, then we could’ve blooded Miles slowly and protected him a bit. We were fortunate that Miles turned out to be a decent option, but he’s had to be played too often too young and that’s probably contributed to his injury. At the moment, with Miles injured, Garner doesn’t have too much of a choice because he can’t risk Chuks breaking down.
As for Kirk, he wasn’t great today, but he has had some good moments recently and, like with Chuks, it’s a case of protecting CBT.

Reminds me of Leaburn scoring in the last minute against Norwich to draw us level at 4-4 after going 4-2 down with 5 minutes left! Anyone else at that game?
Yep. Just told my son about it. Didn't Jason Lee score as well.

15 when we played Sunderland at Wembley in 1998

I wasn't but my Mum and Dad were, and they took their goddaughter and her brother to their first game for that one. Had to tell them it's not like that every week on the way out. I hope anyone who took their kids for the first time stayed to the end, because that would've been a great feeling.
I've never left early since the game at the Old Den where we went 2 up with 5 minutes to go and it ended 2-2. (For clarity, I didn't leave that one, but it was that game that convinced my Dad that leaving early to beat the traffic was a bad idea).  I even sat through the entirety of that bloody cold Boxing Day game where we got stuffed 5-0 by West Ham, though I was sorely tempted.

The way he played today, Kirk was protecting Kirk. The bloke wasn't interested.

A bit harsh that is, there’s no need for point scoring.

Yep. Still think Derby were c***s for the way they treated him after that car crash though. Especially when they kept the two pricks who were actually driving because they were more valuable.
