Was my pick for our best signing after our pre-season, and a bit miffed to see him go to be honest - though strangely not that sad. Can only expect Wrexham offered good money.Although he missed a reasonable chunk of the season, he was still part of a defensive unit which has contributed to us having amongst the worst clean sheet and goals conceded record in the league.So who knows how missed he will be - I prefer to never judge these things in isolation.5

This has to be up there with the most WTF player sale I can ever think of. I don’t think he is particularly anything special, but he’s probably our best centreback and we have an extremely thin squad. I can only hope that the Methven takeover has gone tits up and Thomas is trying to fund losses until varneys lot, or someone else serious, pick up the tab, as if this has come from the new owners we are royally fucked4

I don’t actually think he was much good a bit too slow and not dominant in the air so I don’t think letting him go is a problem- whether the combination of Lavelle and Hector competing for that position is any better who knows ?1

By far our best and most consistent CB this season, and I don't see how you can put a positive spin on this, even if Wrexham are chucking money around. He was under contract, has not been treated badly by the club, and presumably was on better money than previously at Rochdale7
