Fleming's got us looking far more solid, but we don't look like scoring.
A reasonable performance against a Derby team who are clearly much better than us.13 -
If I was the major share owner I'd summon Andy Scott and ask for a precis on every player he'd signed and ask how it had improved Charlton Athletic.
Then I'd do an Alan Sugar impression.24 -

Thought we played well and Derby must be wondering why we are fighting relegation. Thought the guy from Harrogate looked very good.6

Things may have been different today if we'd had Ikpeazu up top instead of Ladapo. Ladapo's first touch is awful and he couldn't trap a bag of cement. At least with Ikpeazu the ball would have stuck allowing us to support him from midfield. Ladapo might have a better strike record, not that we'll see it, but Ikpeazu or similar is more what we need right now. The lack of midfield creativity is a real worry too. If we slip into the bottom four at some point I'm not sure we have the mental strength to get out of it. Nathan Jones is going to have to ask his mate to help out.
Ness our best player today and I'm pleased for him.8 -

Imperative we stay up
Each transfer window must get more difficult with our reputation as career killers.
56 years ago today Peter Reeves got married.
In the morning and playing in the afternoon.
He was 18 years old and was marking Rodney Marsh that day.
.Some of Reeves team mates were hardly any older Bob Curtis 18, Dennis Booth 18,Paul Went 18 . John Stenson 19 and Bob Willis 20.
for the last 30muutes we played with 10 men and had been without our goalkeeper for most of the second half .We drew 3-3 , QPR went up and Peter Reeves, Bob Curtis and Paul Went would go on to play over 820 games between them for Charlton.
Just trying to cheer everyone and myself up.
Sorry.15 -

The Charlton fan base is so gullible and unless they wake up and stop checking train timetables we will be in oblivion very soon.
Fleming talks well....really.
Next week we have to listen to Jones... blah blah blah. Next season in division 2 some other no mark will be spouting off.
The window like sll other windows was a catastrophe. A bunch of injured, unfit losers signed to replace another set of injured unfit losers. All this personified by Gillesphey and Ladapo.
Do fans really believe that Charlie, Scott and Rodwell have the best interests of the club at heart?
The fragmented, cumbersome structure of the owners, board and smt will inevitably stop us from progressing.
Arguing over wether or not AMB can keep goal or do we need a 10 is pointless. The problem with our club lies much deeper.

Dreadful game - Derby weren't as bad as us.
No attacking threat and the usual defensive error.
Can't see us winning a game.1 -

Daisy Daisy, give me your answer do...🙄5 -
Whoever interviewed Curtis at the end of that game for Charlton, said " we know we've got a lot of quality in our squad... " As a club we are so deluded in thinking we are better than we are, we're 19th in league 1 for a reason. Cause we're shit. Our players have little to no quality whatsoever. Whose to blame for this? I don't know.

Gutted another home defeat
I thought there was definitely some improvement in team but still not good enough the lack confidence in the side stands out a mile
We just got to hope with the new manager coming in will change that as its looking very likely we are going down
Makes Reading a real must win let's get down there get behind the team & make the 12th man count3 -

Let me begin with the SMT.3 -
Only saw the second half but thought we looked fine if uninspiring. Clearly lacking something going forward but we did look more solid at the back and only conceded because of an error. I think there’s enough there for Jones to work with, I just hope the players buy into it7

We're all down the bottom because we cant win games.
24. Carlisle: 0 Points
23. Fleetwood: 4 Points
22. Cheltenham: 3 Points
21. Reading: 8 Points
20. Port Vale: 4 Points
19. Charlton: 1 Point
18. Burton: 5 Points.
They don't need to be winning machines, just better than us.0
