Charlton v. Ipswich post match views 2015/16

3-0 again.

Well done to those that stood up for the 2%.

Clear message sent, both on and off the pitch.

It's the pity from my friends and colleagues that I hate the most.

    We've got our Charlton back!
That's not the one we want!
  • Passionless performance from most of the team, hiding bottlejobs. Lookman is absolute mustard!

    Watched on Tv.

Too many defensive errors cost us.

I don't think Ipswich looked 3 goals better than us.

Hope Jackson isn't out for too long, we fell apart the moment he went off.

Striking trio of Reza-Vaz Te-Lookman for the future. Mag was dreadful.

Utter shambles... you cant lump together a load of average players and inexperienced youth based on a profit making financial system and expect it to work...

the language that that bitch used in the meeting as if we should be grateful to see our youth get poached by bigger clubs time and time again is laughable...

It's almost worth it for us to go down to reduce the sale price of the club and hopefully get this idiots out...

    This club is dying...

    Back four really poor.

Diarra done ok, JBG proper shit.

Less said about Mak the better. Vaz Te, Reza and Lookman playing as a front three would cause all sorts of problems and would have had a physical Ipswich back 4 out their comfort zone. KF got it completely wrong today and could tell after about 20 mins the game plan was exactly what Ipswich wanted.

We're in a mess, make no mistake about it.

Karel Fraeye showed he has absolutely zero nous tactically when he insisted on punting it up to Mak for 70 minutes and the fella won less headers than I have fingers on my right hand. That should have been changed at half time, if not before.

Heavily reliant on Jackson but I don't think him playing 90 minutes would've changed the result. Had that game been played 100 times, we'd have lost it 100 times.

    Outfought, out thought and outclassed.

Decent second half, I thought. There's a forward line in there, at least, and a left-back.

Hate to say it but Cousins needs a long rest

Oh and great to put some names to faces after helping out with the 2% poster hand out.

I seriously thought TDH was right footed in the first half - is he ?

Glad to have finally found a stream, first full Charlton I've actually been able to watch, I sure picked a good one didn't I? Up at 6AM for that shite. Defense was suspect, our target man won 0 headers. At least Lookman will be a player and Vaz Te put in a bit of a shift. Few positives today, well done to the 2%
  • There are some very big decisions that need to be made over the coming couple of weeks. The owner cannot let the current situation to continue unless he's happy for us to be relegated.

Fraeye is not experienced enough to dig us out of this hole and the squad is inadequate.

I think we all know what decisions need to be made but does Roland.

We need a new manager to keep us up then look at who we can get next season.

I.e the same as last season and the same as when powell got the boot.

Most flattering 3-0 ever, two out of the 3 goals were shit, Ipswich were shit, their players were boring, niggly, moaning prima donnas, but our players were just a tad more shit.

Well, in fact I do have something more to say. My father watched the second half with me and after the final whistle he asked 'Why do you support this team? How did you become a fan? They looked so so poor and showed no will to fight. ''

I've said that after most games most weeks for 40+ years but I'm not crying about it.

Its probably for the best that we get relegated... reduce the budget... bring in some even poorer players, reduce the crowds... build another training facility... sell players before they have even made their debut for us....

In fact maybe just become a training facility for other clubs... knock down the valley, sell the land... and offer an Olympic sized pool for other clubs to train in...

Very disappointed to see another crushing Charlton live TV home defeat. There was a strong Championship outfit out there and that definitely was not Charlton. Gutted for Johnnie Jackson and his injury. When Jackson went off, the team looked like it had the stuffing knocked out of it. Charlton missed his leadership on the pitch. Ipswich looked much stronger than Charlton and didn't have to get out of second gear to overpower a poor Charlton team.

Bright spots of Lookman who was very quick and THD who played in 3 positions. Vaz Te looked useful. Diarra was steady. Gudmundsson faded. What has happened to Jordan Cousins ?

Game was effectively over by half time with a poorly conceded second goal. Fraeye changes were far too late to affect the game. The changes at half time were ok but should have taken Makienok off at 60 mins, who had a stinker and lost the plot. It was completely over by the time Reza paired up with Vaz Te and they created a few chances.

The overall impression was of a strong, organised and functional championship team easily overpowering a much weaker and less organised team. The commentator was scathing of the Charlton performance. Well done to the 2%, which got a good exposure on the live stream.

Awful performance. We were outplayed and completely outmuscled. The way Solly was handed off for the first goal was embarrassing.

We did have periods of good possession football. We were much better after mak went off.
I hope main puts today behind him and comes back stronger.
Lookman really came of age today.

Our limbs look pretty weak as well.
